Collect, analyze and summarize account information and manage bookkeeping and other accounting operations based on the Italian system
Lead daily finance operations (daily payment list, bank transactions, etc);
Conduct monthly and yearly accounting closing processes in a deadline-driven environment;
Participate in monthly tax computing & and prepare tax returns, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.;
Be responsible for conducting monthly legal notices
Publish trial balances and legal financial statements in a timely manner;
Manage and improve customer invoice issuing process;
Closely work with the customer operations team and assist them in various functions (refunding, customer balances, etc);
Actively participate in improving the current accounting process;
Develop periodic reports for management;
Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups;
Keep up with financial policy regulation and legislation changes;
Help restructure the international tax structure.

You:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in a related area;
Fluency in Italian & English;
Proficiency in SAP is required;
5+ years of professional experience in an Accounting Department or Tax/Outsourcing Department in service sector companies;
Good knowledge of MS Office;
Good understanding of the Italian Tax Code;
Preferably have a CPA certificate;
Preferably knowledge/experience in various incentive legislation (R&D, social security, etc.);
Big 4 experience is a plus
